The CAUSR mobile application (the App) is owned and operated by Causr Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales with registered number 09909739 and registered office at 20-22 Wenlock Road, London N1 7GU (Causr, we, us). By downloading, accessing and using the App you agree to be bound by this privacy policy (the Privacy Policy) and the terms of use accessible in the App (the Terms). This Privacy Policy and the Terms affect your legal rights and obligations so please read them carefully. 2. Collection of Personal Data from LinkedIn

To use the App, you must register an account either by signing in using your LinkedIn login or, when available, directly on the App. You authorize Causr to access and store your LinkedIn member profile data and to share your profile data within the App.

3. Collecting of Personal Data through the App

The personal data that you provide to register directly with the App will be made available to other users. We may also collect your personal data through your use of the App, either automatically or as provided by you through your interactions with other users of the App.

When you use the App, we automatically collect and store information about your computer, browser or mobile device and your activities. This information could include (a) your mobile device's unique ID number; (b) your mobile device's geographic location at any time; (c) your IP address: (d) technical information about your mobile device such as type of device, web browser or operating system; (e) your preferences and settings such as time zone and language; (f) how long you used the App and which services and features you used.

4. Use of the Information

We may use your personal information to (a) manage your account and provide the services and support you request; (b) prevent potentially prohibited or illegal activities and enforce the Terms; (c) customise, measure and improve our services, content and advertising; (d) tell you about our services; (e) better understand our users, diagnose and fix problems; and (f) sell and display offers and ads that may be relevant to you. We may also use the data that you provide to compile aggregate user data, on an anonymous basis, and share that data with third parties.

While the App is in use, we keep track of your device's geographic location so that we can connect you to other users based on your particular geographic location.

5. Mobile device IDs

We allow analytics companies to use tracking technologies to collect information about our users' computers or mobile devices and their online activities. These companies analyze this information to help us understand how the App is being used. Unlike cookies, this tracking technology cannot be deleted.

In order to recognize you, store your preferences, and track your use of the App, we may store your mobile device IDs (the unique identifier assigned to a device by the manufacturer) when you use the App.

When you register, you consent to receive email or text messages from us.

The technology that we use and the security policies which we have implemented are intended to safeguard your information from unauthorised access and improper use. However, no system can be completely secure. Therefore, although we take steps to secure your information, we do not promise that your personal information, or other communications will always remain secure.

8. General

If any provision of this Privacy Policy is held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid or unenforceable, then such provision shall be construed, as nearly as possible, to reflect the intentions of the parties and all other provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

This Privacy Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law and you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
